2002 Honda Civic Ex--Replacing Headlight
I am trying to replace my headlight in my 02 Civic EX but am having major problems. The light needed replaced is on the passengers side. I just called a Honda Dealer, and they said $35 to install--thats nuts! ANy advice. Last time this bulb was replaced, we took out the battery--is this not a good idea?

Seems simple when reading the guide, however, there is not much room in there with the battery being right there, so you cannot see waht you are really doing, and if your hands are large, you are aout of luck. I cannot get the rubber seal off, I keep pulling at it, and it does not come off

Yeah, so-called simple jobs are always much harder than they appear on paper. Can you work a short flathead screwdriver under one side of the rubber seal and gently pry it out?
If it would help you, go ahead and remove the battery. In this case, you will lose your radio and clock presets and may also have to re-enter your radio security code.
