Default 2002 Honda Civic is overheating

Hello everyone.

I've been having a problem with my 2002 Honda Civic Ex. It has been overheating for a while now. We've changed the thermostat and still overheated. We've changed the radiator 2x already, and still overheats. The first time we changed it, well that radiator had a slight crack the size of a thumb nail where the radiator cap goes. So we got it replaced with another radiator. We had a diagnostic test done and nothing showed up on the carbon test nor the pressure test.

The car overheats usually on the highway (30 min. drive). After adding water/coolant it works fine but after a few days, it overheats repeatedly. Mechanic says the water pump is good and nothing in the head gaskets. Any idea what it could be?

I'm getting frustrated with this car!

Are you bleeding all the air out of your cooling system? I had a problem with my 90 Civic. Before I got it someone opened up the system. It looked like a heater hose was leaking, anyway who ever opened the system didn't bleed out all the air.
