2004 civic brake noise
Hi, I bought a used 2004 "certified" civic VP with 26,000 miles from a Honda dealer. The car looks and runs great. I got a decent trade in so I bought the civic. The only thing that bothers me is the clicking sound the brake pedal makes when I push on the brake pedal. I took it back to be looked at and they replaced something but they said there is no fix for this clicking noise and it isn't dangerous. Anyone else have or heard of this non-fixable clicking in their brakes?

Hello, I know this post was from a long time ago but I have a solution to the problem. I have an automatic 2004 honda civic DX and the brake makes the same "clicking" noise when applying pressure. you can almost feel it in the peddal when the noise occurs. I once had the same clicking noise in my clutch of a 2006 accord. The solution to that click was the replacement of the clutch master cylinder. A clutch master cylinder and brake master cylinder function very much alike. I replaced the brake master cylinder and the noise is gone. Replace the brake master cylinder and it will fix your issue. Make sure you keep up on your fluids!
