Default 2008 civic

Just got my new 2008 civic 2 weeks ago and very disapointed so far. Have less than 300 k's on it and find out that every time it rains the inside of the car ( drivers front and rear floors) get soaked. Looking to see if others have same problem.

Take it to the dealer for warranty repair service as soon as possible.

Car is at the dealers. Thay found problem with body seals and have sent the car to a body shop because they are unable to make repairs at the dealership. I have no problem with warranty repairs my only concern was that i had the vehicle for less than 1 week and they will have had it for longer than that by the estimated time to have it repaired. I haven't even used a half tank of fuel yet. I am trying to have the car replaced and am looking for others who may have had the same problem with water damage and how far Honda went with the repairs to correct the damage inside ie: carpets being soaked, moisture inside vehicle etc.

Ive read many problems with the new gen civics, but none that was water damage. Maybe you got unlucky with that one car

Hope they get all the seals and alignments done right for you, It's a shame you even had to deal with that.

Keep careful records. If the problem keeps re-occuring you have recourse in most states from their "lemon law." You'd get another car or your money back. But there are very strict rules, like it has to be the same problem they tried to fix 3 times.

Also do NOT keep your lemon-law paper trail paperwork in the car, the dealer can make it disappear when you go in for yet another repair.
