2009 Civic radio volume up and down

Default 2009 Civic radio volume up and down
Driving yesterday and noticed the volume on the radio would be low, then extremely high, then after a few seconds would drop back down. Has anyone experienced this? Voltage regulation problem or just an issue with the radio?
