Unhappy 2010 Stereo Problems

Stock stereo is not working. It powers on, but there is no sound and nothing else works. It is on an FM station, but the tuner doesn't work, the pre-sets don't work, and mode buttons won't work - I plugged in my mp3 player and it switched to AUX but nothing - no sound.
I have re-set it by disconnecting the battery and entering the radio code - but still nothing. I also checked the fuse and it was fine. It is like the lights are on but nobody's home!

Please Help!

I think the later models have a separate amplifier unit between the head unit and the speakers. The amplifier also has its own fuse.

Thanks! I will check that - would a blown amp fuse cause the other problems besides the sound?
