Default 2011 Civic Brake Pad/Rotor Upgrade

Good Day,

As I have read that many 2011 and other Civics suffer from ridiculous brake pad life, I am wondering what are people's recommendations for an after-market rotor/pad that will give more life and better performance. My Civic is a commuter car fyi. Any help or advice is appreciated. I have been through at least 4 pad sets and I am only around 45000. It is a shame that Honda won't address this.

stay away from drilled\slotted rotors they'll give you worse braking performance stick with blanks only. there's nothing wrong with OEM rotors stick with those as for the pads i would recommend HAWK HPS for added performance and pad life. if you must go after market rotors Stoptech,Centric

Thank you for the information. I am definitely going to check those out for my next brake job.
