Default 2011 Civic (SE) - Ignition switch lost light

hello there,

as you know on the 2011 Civic, when you enter the car, the light is automatically there for the ignition switch so that even at night you can easily see where is the Ignition switch...

After a car repair, my car light is lost and now the ignition switch is always dark...even when I am driving, the ignition switch has no light around it at all.\

Will go back to the body shop.. but is this something can be fixed?\

Thanks

DIY Change your ignition switch light color. PROGRESS PICS ADDED!!! - Honda Civic Forum

You can fix it or possibly change the color of the led to suit your liking.

Thank you and this is good to know.

One more question: is the LED Ignition light electrical circuit going though the Door? What happened is my car just replaced the Driver side door and the left6front wheel/suspension due to an accident and after I picked up the car from the body shop, I noticed the LED ignition light is no longer working. When asked the body shop, they said this is not related to the door replacement. But I am sure this is caused by this accident.

What can I do? If I were to fix this, what is the rough cost estimation? If I were to fix it myselft, is it something I can do myself?

Thanks very much.
