2016 Honda Civic Bucking
My 2016 honda civic EX has been bucking, it started out of no where. I got it inspected, the garage pointed out that the cold intake air hose had a large crack in it and that it felt like the transmission had an issue, they checked for error codes and didnt get anything. They also checked the transmisson fluid and said it was burnt and there was no fluid on the dipstick. I am trying to avoid messing with the transmission fluid because I heard that can cause major issues, so I decided to replace the cold air intake hose. After replacing it I noticed that the car feels a lot better and that the bucking has been reduced significantly.
My question is since the intake hose swap seemed to reduce the issue does that mean the transmission could be ok, could replacing spark plugs reduce the bucking completely?
Also, I am just trying to get this in good shape to trade it in at a dealer and avoid any transmission repair/work.
