Question 2009 Civic EX - Grinding sound after CV axle replacement

I have a 2009 Civic EX with 93K miles. One of the CV joints on the front passenger side was going out, so I replaced the CV Axle with a new one AutoZone. When I did the ABS light came on. Shortly after I started to hear a rubbing/grinding sound. I removed the ABS sensor thinking that it was rubbing on the axle, but that wasn't it. I thought that the axle might have been defective, so I took it back and got another one. After replacing that one, it did the same thing. I've replaced the rotor, pads, and caliper...still no relief. I even shaved down the dust shield on the end of the axle that butts up to the wheel hub based on the recommendation from the mechanic. The sound only happens when I have additional weight on the right side such as a passenger, or making a left turn.

I took it to a mechanic, and they told me it was the transmission. He also said that the wheel bearing also sounded fine. So I took it to a transmission specialist who said that there was nothing wrong with the tranny. Before I take it to the dealer and spend $100/hour for them to diagnose it, i'd love to hear if anyone else has had this issue. Thanks!
