im working on a project with a1990 civic wagon

it won't turn over.

wheni try to crank it it starts like putting and shaking a little bit. kind of like when you run out of gas.

im pretty sure it's getting gas, when i try and crank it, i can smell gas from the exahust.

i dont know. imo i think maybe the timing has jumped a bit but i dont know **** about timing.

i checked the timing chain, it's fine, i also checked the spark plugs and they're getting spark.

could it be my vac lines?
