Periodically the seatbelt dash light and the chime come on even though the seatbelt is being worn. The chime though beeps at a faster rate than when the seatbelt is not connected. Sometimes the problem clears by itself or clears when a door is opened and closed. If I can't find the problem is it possible to eliminate the chime? We are not suggesting that the driver doesn't wear the seatbelt, he always does. But the chime beeping during a 30 minute commute will drive anyone crazy!
