Hey guys!

Just got my first civic, 1993 EX Coupe AUTO 194k

Well I only paid $700 for it so i wasnt expecting much.

But i have a question about it when it shifts from 2nd to 3rd.

It seems like if i am slowing into a corner and then accelerating out of it the tranny kinda hangs in between 2nd and 3rd. Or it starts to shift into 2nd but then doesnt (stays in third).

THis is the only gear that it has any problem in, the rest are trouble free.

Is the tranny going? Or is there hope for it!! should i do something about it now?

PS. Under normal acceleration in a straight line it hits 3rd (from 2nd) a small amount harder than the other gears.

any help would be greatly appreciated!!
