Default 93 Civic Gremlin Transmission went off wall

Ok 93 civic jdm cz vtech = d16y . Park the little fellow last night all operating just fine . Got in it this morning . Was try to back out in REVERSE yes i had coffee and double check when i got to work . Put in reverse and dang thing goes foward taking out a chair my lil girl scooter and almost the wall . But here the issue

The thing work fine as long as you dont have to reverse . It shifts fine no noises . Shift on sam pattern it did before . Here the new bug or gremlin
N = low 1
R = 2
P = locks but in gear 3
l1 = l1
l2= 2
d 3 = d3
d4 =d4
n = low 1
r = low 2
park = d3 or d4 cant tell it lock but still trys to pull .

Any ideas on the gremlin. Fluid check its all there no leaks over night .

Check that the lever on the transmission moves all the way to park when the handle in the car is on park. I think it is marked. Very likely one of the ends of the cable have broken loose and the cable needs to be replaced.

Thanks i will check that . It was dark when i left this morning . As long as i am going foward car is fine nothing abnormal. So i think the transmission is fine unless converter locked up over night when it cooled off

Cable funtioning fine and lined up . Seems more like it froze its self in foward gears. When in poark it does lock the car but still pulls a gear. Same with reverse . Anyway unfreeze it or release all of it
