Just bought a 1993 Civic 4 door lx recently and have been fixin up any and all issues I can find and one I came across was the trunk not closing correctly. The latch (By latch Im refering to the latch pin that goes into the latch lock sorry for any confusion only part name Ive never used) thats on the trunk when it closes hit too far back (back as is closer to the back of the car) I can see a dent from where the latch has been hitting from the previous owner either not noticing it or not caring. The trunk will close but not latch and lock, its not a huge issue as it hasnt come open in the time ive had it but it is something Id like to fix. I will add that there isnt any significant damage to the cars rear at all, trunk area is still nice so it hasnt been all smashed in or anything.
