93 DX coupe not starting. Fuel pump not getting power.
I bought a nearly mint condition Civic last month. Only problem is it died on me the day after I bought it. I'm new to fixing cars so I stupidly replaced the PGM FI relay and distributor to no avail.
Any way, I bought some starter fluid, spayed it in the air intake and that got the car to start for like 1 second. So this tells me that it's an issue with the fuel pump...right?
I checked all the fuses and they looked fine to me.
I shorted the service connector and the CEL just stays lit up the whole time; it doesn't give me a code.
I checked to see if the fuel pump is getting power, and it's not. So that means that the fuel pump itself is probably fine...right?
Based on my research, it seems the only likely explanation would be a burned out ECU. But that's like $250...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
