Is the ignition firing strong sparks? Are the cams in time? Are the plug wires in correct sequence?

Has this setup run before or did you just swap it in?

no sold my 95 impreza for 1500 and picked this up for 1100.
rotor turns but no spark. mechanic left so i couldnt take out a plug to test it just used a grounded out screwdriver not getting any spark. like i said new cap and rotor and coil pack is good with a brand new ign control. main relay still kicks and ecu is correct for the car. the mechanic went through the wiring and said everything is legit. losing hope daily. need this on the road asap for the new baby

Check that the low voltage wires on the coil get battery voltage both with the key "on" and while cranking. Check for ECU codes.
