car starts fine at warm up. then is jumps up and down in idle from 1000 to 2000. when i unplug the eavc loose the idle doesnot change . but idles at 1000 constantly. the only other thing happening is the shift button wont push in in the morning. i have to wait and it pics up but sometimes i have to put the key in to the slot to get it to shift . unrelated ? please help

now for the key to shift issue that means your brake pads are worn down, check your front pads.
