Default '95 Loss of Power

After I come to a complete stop and start to accelerate, the car seems to "die" but the RPM's still increase and the car still moves slightly, but then after a couple seconds it seems to kick into gear and then it goes. It's like the gas cuts off or something....I have no idea. It does it mostly in 1st gear, but sometimes in 2nd. I cannot put together a common thread of symptoms that it might be. Any suggestions would help. I have taking it to several places and they can't find anything wrong with the car.

sounds like a fuel delivery problem... too much air, not enough fuel. Or... could be the spark plugs. When was the last time they were checked?

I did a complete tune up on the vehicle (spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter and PCV) and it has not duplicated the problem since. Thanks.....
