96 civic 1.6 no start

Default 96 civic 1.6 no start

new icm/ coil, fuel filter/ 40psi, main relay, timing belt good. I have spark and sounds like a misfire when first start...lost

How to the spark plugs look? If you take one spark plug wire off, does the car start and stay on? You might need to pull one, then another (after putting the first one back on) to see if that helps diagnose where the problem is exactly.

Make sure it is actually in time by checking the marks on the cam pulley. Timing belts can skip teeth. Also conduct a compression test-- one dead cylinder makes a D series engine very hard to start.

mine did that last week couldnt figure it out ended up being the fuel pressure regulator maybe give that a shot
