97 civic stalling

97 civic stalling

This car somewhat has a mind of it’s own. Mostly stalls on warmer days. So far I have done a tune up, checked the coil and tested the ICM. Running out of things to check. Mechanic seems to think it’s the distributor. Any help would be appreciated.

update. I have replaced the distributor, fuel pump, iac, and tps. The car still stalls while driving.

Thanks again any help would be appreciated.Update. The civic now has a new cat and 02 sensors. Still stalls.

Did you ever solve your problem. See thread entitled, "Civic Shuts Off Randomly" for my resolution. My problem turned out to be with the ignition switch. These are known to fail on a lot of Hondas.
