Default 98 civic d16y8 timing belt ?s

Hi, changed the timing belt and now the motor sounds like no compression when I turn it over just sounds really different .

All I did was tear it down and didn't move anything put the new belt in and replaced the tensioner pully and put it all back .

It just turns over and won't start pistons move vales move and the pullies move its geting gas I'm not sure how to check for spark .

I would re do the work with all timing marks lined up in accordance with manual before removal of the belt.

+1 sounds like the mechanical timing is off. Set the cam and crank to TDC and try again.
