Question 98 Civic intermittent misfire

My 98 Civic misfires just once and very intermittently, usually while driving at highway speed and maybe just once a day.The check engine light flashes for that brief second that it misses and then all is well.I replaced the distributor with a used one and the problem still exists although,it seems that the miss is now more subtle.I suppose the second distributor could be bad too.Any thoughts?

new distributors off rock auto starting at 69 without wires, cap or button. 129 with previously listed accessories, and i agree with replacing wires, plugs, button and cap.
