Hello, i have a 1998 honda civic lx. When the car is cold and you get in it to drive the car is very choppy like its got a mis. but is still driveable just annoying, once the car has warmed up it runs great. it has 174k I have put new plugs, new rotor, new cap on anyone have any ideas on what it could be? and by choppy i mean when you give it gas it just falls on it's face when the gas pedal is pushed there is no check engine light it will flash.. thanks alot im stumped!

 

If the check engine light is flashing, that means cylinder misfire. You replaced the plugs but what about the plug wires?
