Okay guys, I have a little problem and I was wondering if anyone on here has a solution. I bought Ebay fog lights for my car that came with the fogs and the Ebay harness. I know the Ebay harness is a risky route so I am altering the Ebay harness to replicate the OEM (instead of the fog lights turning on whenever you want on Ebay setup, the OEM fog lights turn on only when headlights are on and turn off when headlights are off). I have soldered and altered everything into place and followed OEM diagrams to get this sob as close as possible to OEM.

Okay now for the problem. I have the whole wire ready and set to go but the only part not soldered is the wires hooking the switch to the rest of the harness. On OEM switches, the wires are ordered and colored to tell which ones are the constant, ground, and relay (red/white wire = constant, red/yellow wire = relay, black = ground). On this Ebay switch, I have no clue which is which. That's the problem. I am wondering if anyone here knows which color is which (is both red the constant and both yellow the relay? or vice versa? or is it a mix of red/yellow?). This switch just HAD to have 5 wires instead of 3. If I don't make much sense you guys can ask questions and I'll clarify for you.

It is actually possible to have the 99-00 ebay ones work like stock, turning on only when the parking lights or headlights are on. I wired mine in, plug and play, with no modification.

Unfortunately, I have no clue how the ebay relay is wired. I never went to far as to diagram it out.

I DO like the idea of being able to wire in an OEM switch though. The ebay one SUCKS. I didn't realize that there were the same number of wires, and that two of the sockets on the OEM one weren't used.
