20 bucks for a chiltons or Haynes will be the best money you ever spend on your car. if you want to start doing your own wrenching, you know you will eventually buy one, so just get it over with.
thanks for all the info , is was no problem, the whole reason i changed the belts cus they wer squelling, and this morning the squeel was gon since i did the belts last night, and after work to day i started driving and the squeel came back? maybe just an adjustment or the compresser is in need of some oil? using the AC ofcourse
any thoughts?
any thoughts?
its possible that the clutch (ac clutch, not the one for your trans.) is going. mine does that if i rev over about 5500 rpm, but its only that high because i had a friend who worked in a shop lower the pressure in the ac system so i could rev it high enough to get on the freeway. but chances are that you just need to tighten the belt a little more.
thanks for the tip , i did sung it up a turn or 2 on the tensioner,
But......
the squeel is comming from the blower inside the car pass side, so i guess the fan is in need of greese or something, ill have to take it a part on sunday to check it out any one ever do this?
