EDIT: So it appears that the junk yard sold my part on my way over to pick it up... So I am in the market for an exhaust manifold. I was just adviced to pick up a header instead. Can anyone advice me of a good brand and or place to pick one up? I check my local auto parts stores and what they have is in the $300+ range which is a little steep for my budget at the moment. I am not really looking for anything crazy expensive... just something that works and is not going to fall apart on me in a week.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if a 98 exhaust manifold would fit on a 99 civic?

Anything 96-00 will fit as long as you use the right one. Let me explain...

The DX and LX have the catalytic converter built into the header. The EX has the catalytic converter AFTER the header and down pipe. So if you're swapping from DX-LX or LX-DX, you're fine. If you're swapping from EX-EX, you're fine. If you're swapping any other way, it won't work without modification.
