99' Si Power steering pump wobbles
Greetings.
I got some work done on my car. (engine re-decked, new timing belt, ectr.)
A few months later my power steering pump pulley had a major wobble to it.
When i removed the part and the pulley i noticed that the pulley shaft was stripped toward the base.
I haven't had power steering since. It's been about 2 years.
I just had abdominal surgery and can't drive my car over the next couple months without power steering.
Has anyone had any experience with a wobbly power steering pulley?
Do you think the rest of the pump is still good? or is this a sign of the pump going?
Is it cheaper to replace the pulley and pulley shaft?
If so, do i really need to purchase a pulley shaft kit?
My other option is to buy the part from a auto junk yard for $40.
I'd appreciate any advice.

If you can get a complete pump with pulley already attached for $40 I'd suggest doing that. It appears that the shaft is not sold separately.
Do not use generic power steering fluid. It needs to be Honda brand or specifically labeled as suitable for Hondas. Other fluids will ruin your seals.
