AC Belt

When I turn on my AC of coarse it doesnt work but,
The belt is barely spinning almost like its catching on something.
What Yall Think?

With the engine off, pull on the belt. It seems really slack then? Maybe you can just tighten it. Also try to turn the plate on the front of the compressor pulley (this is linked to the compressor shaft itself) by hand. If it won't turn, your compressor is seized.
