Default Adding passenger side mirror...please help!

I just bought a 1992 Civic 4-door DX, and it lacks a pasenger side mirror. Is it possible to add one? I guess my main concern is how do I get that triangular trim piece off that is in the spot where the mirror goes. And do the manual-adjusting mirrors come with an inner piece w/ a hole in it for the little adjuster stick? And lastly, where is a good place to buy these things online?

Thanks a lot.

Bumping this "back from the dead" thread. I have the same inquiry. My '93 DX Sedan has no passenger side mirror. Is it possible to install one?

Does it have a mirror delete plate? Just a smooth plastic cover were a mirror should be?

The inner piece pops right off. Just pull. I'm not sure how the outer piece would be attached. Likely a VERY simple thing to take off. I'd recommend just picking up a mirror and inner piece from a salvage yard. Should bolt right on. Be sure to get the three nuts for the mirror when you hit up the salvage yard.

Yes if you get the mirror off of a '95 (which came with a right side mirror) it will bolt right on to a '92 or '93.

Awesome! Thanks guys. It currently has a smooth cover both outside and inside where the mirror should be. Hopefully I can find some 92-95 civics in the junk yard where I live (south bay area, san jose).

Besides when going as fast as they think they are, there's no way someone will be sneaking up behind them. So fie on mirrors!

Should be some clips you can pop out on the panels for the mirrors, then oem should bolt up from there.
