Default Adjusting Driver Door Latch

My driver side door does not close tightly enough. It rattles a little bit and it is slightly not flush with the body of the car at the rear edge of the door.

Is there any way to adjust this?

Also, the door hinges are new so no problems there.

look at your locking mech, on the door the part that holds the door shut, and releases when you pull the handle, it may be worn, or your door needs to be adj, where the hinges are, it can be a pita to get them adj right so the door closes correctly, just take your time and adj then close then inspect and adj some more.

The hinges are fine I am sure... every part of the door lines up perfectly except that at the back of the door it just isn't flush. It's a barely noticeable amount that it sticks out but the problem is that it rattles slightly now.
