Default Annoying Engine Noise?

Just wanted to know an easy way to get rid of that annoying engine noise my car makes when you start it up. I have the D16y7 and im in very cold weather and the car is always starting in long time spans since I don't drive much in college.

When it starts up it makes that annoying squealing noise in the engine somewhere everytime. Even if I leave the car for 1 hours more or less when I start it, it makes that noise for awhile how do I stop it?!

Post a video of the sound and try to pinpoint the source.

Squealing is usually from the belts on the outside off the engine. In this case I'd suspect a loose and/or worn alternator belt. When you first start, the alternator pulls harder to recharge the battery.

Yea, the culprit is usually the alternator belt.

Well it might just be loose. Inspect its condition before determining whether or not you are going to replace it.

A squealing noise could come from any of the three drive belts, or even the A/C idler pulley. The methodical approach is to remove each belt one at a time to determine the source of the noise. This avoids the other approach of replacing parts at random.
