Default Answer to No Low RPM problem...Dizzy cap install?

I posted that question to having no low rpm's a few days ago and i just picked up some new ngk iridium ix plugs and put them in. Perfect fix. I have all the low rpm power pack, plus it starts up muuuuch better than before when the engine was totally cold.

The only thing is that i already ordered my distributor cap and spark plug wires, which are getting here thursday, so i'm gonna install them, even if my problem is fixed (it cant hurt gas mileage or performance). The plugs will be easy, and doing the distributor cap doesnt look too hard, but i really know nothing about it.

How exactly do i install a distributor cap (i know i have to unscew the old one and jazz like that) but are there other things that would make the install a bit harder than just unsccrew old one, screw in new one?

Thanks for all the help guys!

peace, Evan

PS. I think i remember remmy saying i should shoot him/pcupo if they were wrong about the distributor. Now where did i leave my gun...

Haha, just kiddin guys

yeah man there is a certain firing order for it. the right wire must be on the proper terminal and to the proper cylinder. ya feel me. ususally it is good to draw a diagram of the engine to what terminal on the cap goes to which cylinder. I drew the diagram wrong once and i had to look it up in the boook. if you don't have a book you can go to autozone.com and look at their online manuals and see what the firing order is. if you need anymore help just us all up. its straight.
