Default any way to indentify crankshafts?

hubby and i came across some pistions which we thought were gsr, but actually turned out be type-r (yay for us!). included with the pistons was also a crank, but how can we be sure this is also a type-r (or whatever, for that matter)? are there any markings on the crank that could tell us this? hubby tried looking, but couldn't see any...

thanks to anyone that answers!
