I bought an 05 Civic last week and I was wondering if there were any mods you can make to the drivers seat to get more legroom? I'm 6-2 and I feel a little cramped driving it. I mainly bought it for my wife but I seem to be driving it most of the time now.
Are there any seat extension kits?

 

My freind had his seats in his Probe remounted to move it back a few inches. Not sure how they did it but I know it mantained the stock seat track. LOL he actually did it to get a better sound stage for competition...he's only 5'9' I'm sure it can be done...just need to find someone who can make some brackets and tap new holes.

 

I was hoping there was some sort of kit you could get from Honda. I'd hate to fudge something in and ruin the safety of the car. That was one of the reasons we chose the Civic over a Corolla. The Civic is a way safer car plus it did have a little more legroom than the Toy.
