anyone know about a crank angle sensor???
When you turn the ignition key to ON but don't crank, is the ECU LED blinking a code?
Might your fuel filter be clogged?
You also may want to test whether there is low compression in the cylinders.

how do you test for compresion?? how do i know if the filter is clogged?? ive read about changing one, but is it really difficult? i dont have that many tools. and not much money considering im going to school.
The filter should be changed every two to three years. Do a search -- Forty04 has a DIY for testing compression. Is the ECU LED blinking a code?

ok,, has, anyone had troubles taking off the damn banjo bolt when youre changing your fuel filter? the things on so tight that it wont budge. i would say im a pretty big guy, and i feel like im gonna burst a vein trying to take it off. is there something special youre supposed to do with this bolt? itsso bad that i popped off the brace that usually holds the filter in place. what should i do guys?
I Googled this:
"Place a shop towel under and around the fuel filter. Remove the 12mm banjo bolt (top of the filter) while supporting it with another wrench right beneath the banjo bolt on the filter neck. Loosen the bottom hardline fitting using the same setup (bottom line is not banjo, you have to use a open end wrench and support it again like before). Remove the filter clamp and replace filter with new one. Installation is reverse order of removal. You must use new washers, otherwise its garanteed to leak. Clean all hoses before installation."

see i read that also in my chilton, or whatever it is. i did that except the damn bolt is too tight and it wont loosen at all. its just really tight, ha, not much more to say i guess. i put some penetrating oil on it, so hopefully it will loosen with that a little. if you have any other suggestions please im all ears.
ok, its not doing anything, i even went to buy a craftsman open wrench for the bottom screw to loosen it up, its still tight. does this possibly mean that the filter was clogged? and now the pressure is keeping the bolts on? does this ever happen??
