I disconnected this line recently on my car too. I stopped for a day or two because it didn't seem like it wanted to budge. You just have to really go at it, but be careful when you're doing it to make sure you're not bending the fuel filter clamp. Do you have a breaker bar? It should look something like this:

It'll give you a lot more torque for loosening the bolt.

I guess it's a matter of properly securing the filter and then getting the right angle and torque to bust the nuts loose.

i forgot to ask, even when i get this damn thing off, do i bleed the fuel, and if i do, how wouldi do that? do i need to do anything special or when i turn the key for the fuel pump to come on it will bleed it for me?

ok, i wrenched the bolts off, changed the filter. and since i had the intake pipe and filter off i tried starting it i noticed that a puff of what looked like smoke puffed out of the intake, the oposite way air is supposed to be going. does this lead anyone on to anything?
