Default Crank angle sensor

Hey im new and of course i have a question about my 88 civic hatch.
My ECU Is telling me that my crank angle sensor is bad but when i talk to any mechanic I know they tll me its the air sensor, because when I accelerate the car spits occasionally at low rpm but starts missing when i start getting higher in the rpms.
If it is the crank angle sensor, does anyone know where to get one? And can i buy just the sensor or do i have to buy a whole new distributor?
And if its not, than can someone tell me what it is?
Any help is appreciated!

Is the ECU throwing code 4?

If so, you would need to replace the distributor assembly.
