A little background info. I have 95 EG with an H22A swap. One day while driving I heard and felt a thud and a loud whining sound started happening. The noise is real annoying like the sound of a supercharger and gets louder as I accelerate and lower as I decelerate. I quickly pulled over and noticed that the housing to my tranny was f'ed up. I figured that may have caused the noise. I had the whole tranny replaced and was happy as could be. Happy up until the point where I turned the car on and the noise was still there. Does anybody have any idea what it could be?

 

can you use a camera or a phone to get a video so we can hear the noise? Lots of stuff on an engine can make whining noises.
