Has anyone heard about a Auto JDM b16 2nd generation (Del Sol 92-95). My friend has one but the wiring harness didnt come with it. Can the wiring for a manual tranny plug right in without ****ing the wires? If so where can i help him find the wiring harness? Can we use a 99-00 Si wiring Harness without modifing it?

 

[:@]I may be wrong but I don't think B16's ever came with auto transmissions. Is it a single cam motor, do you mean D16? Also the 99-00 Si is obd2 and your so called B16 is probably an obd1 ecu. Double check the engine code and then do a search for wiring harness on the internet.

 

yea i'm 100% sure it's a B16 cuz thats what it says on the block, JDM DOHC Vtec Del Sol 92-95 and yes it's an obd1 with the p30 ECU. As strange as it seems, it's has an Auto Tranny.

 

No there was auto B16 in japan. I dont know about the wiring but I do know that the LSD auto trannys are fairly cheap.


I would bet a usdm LS auto wiring harness would work, but youd most likly need the ecu from the auto B16 and them prob have to run the vtec wire like you were doing a ls-vtec swap

 

We have everything for the B16 includeing the p30ecu it's just the wiring harness is that we need to get it running. Would a 99-00 Si harness work? (i mean straight plug in)

yhe ive got an auto and its standard. its a 1991 (1992-1995 shape) civic eg9 SiR and its got a b16 in it with an auto box
