Default Auto Radiator into a 5-speed???

Will a radiator with the two tubes coming out of it meant for an automatic trans work fine with a manual? I dont have the tubes hooked up, just plugged to keep them clean. I dont see any leaks, but when I drive around and then open the hood it feels "steamy" under the hood. Any help?

Also, if the radiator and the two tubes are two seperate systems, could you use it to cool your engine oil? Not that I would just wondering if it would work?

the radiator should be just fine, its for the auto trans cooler. i guess you could turn it into an oil cooler but it is extremely large so it might keep your oil below operating temp.

So what about using it to cool the manual tranny?

No need there. The manual tranny probably uses gear oil and doesn't need cooling. ATF needs to be cooled as well as the tranny itself in an automatic and also because it has rubber seals.
