auto-tran: first shift is real slow 2000 ex
Ok, in my wifes 2000 EX, the car seemed to just develop a odd problem of shifting incredibly slowly into 2nd gear, right after the car is started up. Its summer so its not like its that cold, and it will happen again if the car can just sit for 10 minutes.
Basically when you get up to where it should be shifting into 2nd, or possibly 3rd, the cars acceleration will stall at a certain rpm for 1-2 seconds and then kick hard into the next gear, the following shift will typically feel fine, however the car seems to be shifting a little more clunky in general.

Any suggestions would be welcome because i'm trying to figure out if its a (relatively) cheap fix or if this is the first sign of transmission death and I should bail now.
