Default autopage alarm install help? unlock prob.

Alright I hooked up my alarm today and everything works except when I disarm it the drivers door does not unlock. The switch on the door unlocks and locks both doors, but when I disarm the alarm it only unlocks the pass. side door. I just bought the car a couple months ago and I don't think it's the original drivers door, but like I said the door switch works for both. I am just baffled and any input would help.

I just saw a post about having to run a jumper on the stock radio wiring connector for the dome light to work properly w/ a aftermarket radio installed. I noticed that the door lock wiring goes through it also. Still not sure if that will help me but just throwing it out there.

Sorry about that it's been a long day, car's a 97 hx, i don't think it had factory keyless in it. Alarm is a autopage rf-320.

first off, where did you pull the unlock wire from?

according to this: http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/...tail/1050.html
you should have pulled it from behind the factory radio.

if you pulled it from somewhere else, it may be causing your problem.

try pulling it from the green plug behind the radio, Green/Orange (-) wire, and see if that works.

most likely the wire that you tapped into is after the switch on the driver door on its way to the passenger door. So it will read as an unlock wire, but when the alarm sends the (-) signal on the unlock wire, it only unlocks the passenger door because the driver unlock motor is on the other side of the lock switch so it never sees the signal.

hope that makes sense
