Default bang for buck motor mod?

hey ive got a 97 civic DX HB that is completly stock. I was wondering, what is the best bang for the buck motor modification for 200$ or less? I dont want anything crazy on my car. its got a little over 200 thousand miles on it. I want to get the power and gas mileage up. I know there is a bunch of sh%$ products in this market, and i need help finding out what is not................

if ur only looking to spemd 200, then i dont think ur gonna get very far. but normally people start with cold air intake, header, or exhaust system.
