Do not rewire. Get under the car and check/fix the harness. It's just one spot that always goes bad. There is no need to reinvent what is generally a fine product by the Honda engineers.

Hey mk378. Do the wires you are talking about also control the oil light. my situation is when driving at highway speeds 60+ and I break to get off the exit ramp, my oil light and battery light both come on. There has been 2 times where my car actually shut off. There has been some circumstances where if my car is on a declined slope. Rear higher then front. The oil light comes on the car sputters and seems like its going to stall out. Any ideas if its the same wires.

have you checked your oil levels? because hitting the brake 2 60+ and the ramp would send the oil to one side of the motor and make the oil light come on, my bat light would come on when i was idling, i had the alt tested yesterday and it was bad

sounds like you have a lose connection somewhere in the loop, i'de check alternator wires, battery wires, etc. Maybe you got a loose ground connection somewhere.

When the engine slows down near the stalling point or actually stalls, it is normal for the oil and battery lights to come on. Engine not turning means the oil pump is not pumping and the alternator is not charging.

If your car drives OK but doesn't idle properly you should start by cleaning the IACV.
