Battery Light--Under 3k RPM??
For whatever reason, my battery light is on in my 2002 Civic LX, until the RPMs are over 3k. I just replaced the battery, helped, but still a bad situation. Do I need to replace the alternator? Or is this an alternate electrical problem?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Probably a bad alternator. When the brushes are worn they don't make contact all the time. You could take the alternator off and have a parts store test it.
Realize that the "battery" light on the dash is actually connected to the alternator. When the alternator detects a situation where it is not generating power to charge the battery, it is supposed to turn the light on.
