belts?? timing

Default belts?? timing

what is a good price for a mechanic to change my timing belt...and also..what other belts need changed? my belts are making noises so i better change them soon!!!!

if the mechanic has done a few, it should be at most 300 w/o parts preferably $200 or so.

I'd buy the parts and have him put it in for ya. The parts should be b/w $100-150 depending on what parts you get. some of the online dealers actually sell kits now. I think there is a dealer that sells it on ebay.

if i were you, i'd replace all the accessory belts since they all have to come off anyway. worth every penny IMHO.

i wouldn't take it to a mechanic who has not done a honda timing belt change...
