Default bizarre electrical problem

I am in need of advice. When headlights are on dash & tail lights fade off, yet w/ parking lights only on all's well. Anyone have this problem before? Any clues as to the cause of this problem? Beau

My 95 DX does something similar every now and then. Sometimes when I turn the headlights on the dash lights and the parking light don't come on. I found I could reach down under the dash and "jiggle" the fuse block and all the lights would come on like they are supposed to. It must be a bad connection or bad ground, but I haven't been able to figure out which connection yet. This is the kind of thing electrical fires are made of. Hope this helps.

I know when I turn on the lights in my car, the gear indicators dim, but I'm pretty sure that's normal, cuz otherwise they'ed sear your retina's in the dark .
