Default Block answers needed

I am pretty mechanically inclined and i was thinking of installing rods, pistons, and rings into my stock d16z6. Any special tools required? Any pointers? A web site for step by step instructions? Or should i try this at all? Help needed from anyone who has successfully completed a D.I.Y block rebuild. Thanks

go to your local book seller store and order a honda engine swap book.

they're very detailed and have lots of pictures, as well as loaded with upgrade advice. they're worth every penny.

but you'll also definitely need a cherry picker...
