Default Blown Battery Fuse

Hi, I'm new to this forum and am after some advice regarding a 2007 Honda Civic. I seem to have blown the fuse within the battery itself (found in the battery, under the + connection flap, not the fuse box). The manual mentions this fuse in passing as something to check, but no way of actually removing it. I've put a bit of welly into trying to pull it out, but so far to no avail. Obviously I don't want to damage the battery itself, so am now wondering whether this fuse is even removable, or whether it's built into the battery? Can I buy a replacement (can't find any after a quick Google), or will I need to shell out for a whole new battery?

Thanks in advance
